Face book:

Face book is a social network service and website launched in February 2004 that is operated and privately owned by Face book, Inc. Face book was founded by Mark Zuckerberg with his college roommates and fellow computer science students Eduardo Saverin, Dustin Moskovitz and Chris Hughes. As from 2006 anyone who is over the age of 13 and has a valid e-mail address can become a user. Face book allows you to change your personal profile and add your own photos, add other users as friends and send instant and private messages as well as creating and joining interest groups "like pages".There are now 500 million users on Face book today.


My space:

My Space is a social network service founded by Tom Anderson and Chris DeWolfe and was launched in 2003. By 2006 54,000,000 people had created an account on MySpace. MySpace was overtaken internationally by its main competitor, Face book, in April 2008, based on monthly unique visitors When you join MySpace you will have your own personal profile and this allows you to change your personal picture, add photo albums and join different groups. You can add and search your friends on Face book if they have a MySpace account, you also have the choices to "accept" or "decline" your friends request, and view your friend’s profiles. This website was created to interact with your friends online. You can also send private messages to your friends by clicking the "Send Message" button, or add a comment to your friend’s posts by clicking on the "Add Comment" link.


Google Apps technology:

Google Apps technology is an Abbreviation for application. An App is a piece of software that can run on the internet, on your computer or on other electronic devices' such as your mobile phone. Google Apps is a service from Google providing independently customizable versions of several Google products under a custom domain name. When you access Google on your computer, you will have a choice of many Apps to access and use. Many of these Apps include things such as Calendar, Mail, Word Processing and Gmail.
